One of the key tools I have used for decades, especially when I managed large teams is what I call, the At-A-Glance Calendar. As the name suggests, this is a basic 12-box diagram that enables a high-level view of key activities, goals and deadlines for the next 12 months.

For small business owners, this is a great, simple, tool to map out the key activities, deadlines, goals and events happening in the next 12 months.
